If you have been following us over the past few weeks, you may have noticed that our release frequency has dropped. This is because last year we worked quickly for the PTF demo day, and now we need to clean up our code and replace some last-minute hacks with proper code.
In the meantime, we are also working on the following:
- We have a new, ambitious contributor (Icewind), who has come up with ideas for improving our code parsing and error reporting.
- We are completing the language documentation to help users better understand how ยตcad works.
- Also the documentation of the standard library is in progress and will be our first proof of creating mdbooks from code’s inline documentation.
- As old and new ideas were piling up, we started writing down some concepts which we will then transfer into a proper roadmap to help all contributors understand what we are aiming for in the coming weeks and months.
- We already have fixed some reported issues and still do, if you continue reporting.
- We are also searching for new funding so that we can prioritize this project and continue our work with reasonable speed.
When rework has been done we will present you a proper roadmap with prioritization and new features and improvements will come up in the usual frequency.
